American Jane

Thanks for all your encouraging comments about The Half Time Quilt. Today I've made more progress on the pay it forward front. Only one more to go!
I love this American Jane fabric; 'Snippets' for those that don't know. It's so lovely and vintage looking.
I think I'll have to make a larger version of this for me :) It's been lovely using some favourite fabrics that I've had lying around for a while. What are your favourite fabric lines? and what projects would make you cut into them? I'd love to know :) Catch you soon x

  1. Lovely cushion cover :-) I have so many favourites... I love my Ghastlies, but love it so much I dont quite want to cut it yet! I love my city weekend, and I've done 2 quilt patterns for it... one day I'll get round to doin them!

  2. My all time favourite fabric has to be mendocino. I had delusions I'd get the whole range in every colour and make a huge bed sized quilt. However, I only discovered it when it was out of print. I've made a lap sized quilt so far but can't bear the thought of using it all up - completely. Another range I wish I had all of is Hope Valley. (I've given up hoping that I'll stumble upon some cheap as chips Flea Market Fancy.) Luckily there are tonnes of current fabrics I'm lusting after - especially to make bags and cushions!

  4. Blogger has been playing up for me. I've not been able to leave comments on some blogs. I LOVE snippets, and really wish I'd bought some when it was available. What a gorgeous cushion! And the wonderland pinnie is fantastic too. I love that fancy flowery stitch you've used. It's just one of my favourite features of the apron you made me :)
I ahve a few favourite lines. Like Jan I love Mendocino, and today I nearly pee'd myself when I found a charm pack of Authentic by Sweetwater at my local quilt shop!
I'm planning to chop it up and share it with my Pillow Talk Swap Partner because I think it's his/her kind of thing too :)

  6. Love the cushion cover! I don't have a favourite line, in fact most of the time I have no idea which line is which but I do love anything with a nice dot or stripe on it! (Or an elephant or an owl..!)
