Modelled by the gorgeous Jess!
A little close-up of the detail :)
And as I can't ever seem to post without photos of items on the washing line...
I've written up a pattern for this so you can have a go yourself if you fancy it :) I'm not claiming that this is an original idea, it's just the process I used to make this apron. It's the first pattern I'm unleashing on the world so it's bound to have glitches. If anything needs clarifying just ask. If you do try it out I'd really appreciate any constructive feedback and a photo would be great. I promise not to cry too much if you think it's rubbish ;)
I love love LOVE it! It is so happy and cheerful :) I love Happy Campers (it's one of the few American Jame lines I don't have any of, and wish I did)
ReplyDeleteI saw a thumbnail of the apron over on Flickr and came zooming over here really hoping this might be an apron for me. Thankyou so much, the only problem I will have is deciding which side to wear because they are both Gorgeous!!!! You've put a big happy smile on my face :)
Oh Fiona, lucky duck, thats a really fab apron!
ReplyDeleteLovely - aprons are so cool, do you think we could stage a 'fashion' come-back!?
ReplyDeleteLucky Fi! I always forget to put my apron on when cooking. How about we bring back house coats - I always remember my Granny wearing a horrible blue nylon one! Jxo
ReplyDeleteI'm working on it..unintentionally. Went outside with my apron on and wondered why I was getting strange looks :) My Nan had a blue nylon housecoat too!! They will never be fashionable!
