Drum roll please. We have a winner!

Thank you so much to everyone that took part in our first ever giveaway! It has been such fun reading all the posts. I have been reminded of more of my own fashion faux pas and on reflection my perm was probably the least of my problems :)

Well it's that time! I've used the Random Integer Generator to pick a winner for us and I'm not all techie so don't know how to screen capture the details so I've just copy and pasted them here:

Congratulations Lynne! I'll get the goodies in the post to you as soon as possible in the week :)

We had such fun with this giveaway that I'm sure it won't be the last. It doesn't seem right to have a post without a photo so I'll leave you with the offending perm and the disclaimer that I no longer look anything like this!!! (In my defence we were nursing the original Nellie in her final days when this was taken.)

  1. Congratulations Lynne!

I'm glad it wasn't just me who couldn't figure out how to put the pic of the random number thingy on my blog. I ended up taking a really fuzzy rubbish picture and posting that lol.

I'm saying nothing about the perm because I've had worse scare cuts than that lol ;-)

  2. I took a photo of the random number thing too but it was so shaky I decided not to use it.

I think I had found Frizzease by the time this photo was taken, it was much scarier before I had that :)

  4. Me? Me? Me? Really??? Hurray hurray hurray!!!!!!! I'm so happy, thank you so much - I did ask Yvonne to fix it so I would win but she said she wouldn't / couldn't. Oh you two crazy ladies have made a middle aged lady very happy!!!

  5. Lynne- from one crazy lady to another, you're very welcome :)

Leila - my Mum would have stopped me from having a perm if it wasn't for the fact that I was over 30 ;)

  6. The perm isn't scaring me as much as that look on your face. The pillow is going either in the sitting room or on the kitchen sofa - undecided until it arrives. I already have quilt plans for the Liberty squares which I will combine with one of Mandy's new solids charm packs and white sashing (I think). And, to prove my love of Liberty to you, I will be posting a pic on my blog, when I blog my winnings, of me dressed in a floor length Liberty lawn frock. Be afraid. Be very afraid.

  8. Coo you were brave putting a photo of THAT perm on here! How many times did Nellie say 'when will it be gone?' :) At least it's only the colour you play with now. And I do like purple anyway! :)
